Ryan's Web Neighbors
As a public service, I offer the following World Safety
Link.
If you wanna see the web, here are some great places to start.
If you have an idea what you're looking for, but don't know where it
might be, try one of these Way-Cool (tm) Sites:
- The University of Washington's WebCrawler
allows you to regular-expression searches from a huge (and constantly
growing) database of links with keywords..
- W3 Search Engines --
A HUGE list, directly accessible, all on one page. Check this out.
- The World Wide Web
Worm is amazingly cool (BotW '94 winner), and even more amazingly
overloaded. They're supposed to be moving to more powerful facilities
soon, at which time it should become even MORE amazingly cool and
overloaded.
- MOMspider
- Laurie.Mann's
list of Web Hunter/Gatherers
Glenn Davis' Cool Site of the
Day gives you at least a reasonable chance of seeing a well-done
site that you may not have seen before (how big IS your cache,
anyway?)
Finally, if you don't care where you go, the Uroulette WWW page deals out a
random link whenever you access it.
Brent's Internet
Jumpstation is pretty interesting.
The Planet Earth
Home Page comes very highly recommended. Warning: Lots of gifs
here - turn off automatic image loading if you're on a slow link.
Been unlucky in love? Then you'll love the artwork on Arne's Nethole
Here's a site in Hotlanta that's been in the news lately. 1996 Summer Games
pages.
The BOB(c)WEB
homepage.
The Spider's Web.
In addition, Bob "The Spider" Allison recommends that you visit his Bob Allison's Home
Page, too.
